How to know your foot size

By Natyashoes

To know your foot measurements please follow these steps.

  1. Stand on a blank paper with your weight on the foot. You can tape the paper to the floor to avoid movement. We recommend you take someone’s help to mark for you.
  2. Mark you the widest and the longest points of your foot keeping the marker at 90°. Please mark where the marker touches your skin. The marker should NOT trace under the skin (See below chart).
  3. Measure the width (bone to bone) and the length (longest toe to heel) in mm (cm) on paper.
  4. Ensure you are starting from 0 pt. on the measuring tape.
  5. Check the size chart for your corresponding size
  1. Please note that dance shoes should have a snug fitting to allow for stretching. The shoes generally stretch up to half size wider upon use, depending on the materials used. They should feel tight even after you break into them.
  2. Lengthwise, dance shoes have very little or no margin beyond your toes, unlike streetwear. Additionally, for women’s open toe heels, the foot recedes into the shoes while pointing, therefore it is acceptable to have one’s toes slightly extending beyond the length of the shoe. If you can see the tip of the insole while pointing your toes, the shoe length is good.
  3. Natya Shoes are true to your size. If you know your size, you should order the size you normally use. Natya Shoes follow EU sizing. Brand to brand the shoe length may differ, therefore, it is always recommended that you measure the foot length and follow the below size chart.
  4.  Although, the construction of Natya shoes is such that your feet rest properly on the base without being squeezed, the width is standard (not narrow or wide).

Narrow or Wide fittings

  1. If you have wide or narrow feet, you can either opt for our totally adjustable styles or buy one size up or down.

What heel height should I order?

  1. At Natya, we’re all about comfort and while all our shoes, including the highest heels, are supremely comfortable, you should order the heel height that will work best for you.
  2. For long practice hours, and for beginners, flats and low heels up to 7cm work best.
  3. The heels are measured from the centre point of the tallest part of the heel.
